Our vision is a community in which there is no unnecessary euthanasia. We believe that there should be a place for every domestic animal, be it with a family or in a safe haven/sanctuary. The public is still grossly uneducated about animal rights, animal welfare and animal wellness. This must be changed in order to make a difference in the future. The laws pertaining to keeping / breeding animals must be more stringent to help avoid future overpopulation. Education regarding spaying / neutering should start early, in the schools. The "pitbull" problem falls into this category as well, clearly they are over-represented in the shelters and pounds, and the stigma surrounding the pitbull has to be corrected in the public eye. There are many animals that are surrendered by owners because of the medical costs needed for their care. For these animals we provide medical assistance. We strive to keep the animals in their families, so for disadvantaged households we provide financial support toward veterinary care. For the animals that are not adoptable after medical treatment, due to chronic illness or special needs, both seniors and younger animals alike, we provide a loving sanctuary/ safe haven where they can live the rest of their lives in dignity and receive the necessary veterinary care and nurturing from volunteers. Our foster/adoption program is done through volunteers/ foster homes only.501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization
