PANACEA® FOUNDATION helps the world find pragmatic solutions to our most pressing economic, environment and development challenges though science, innovation and social/eco-entrepreneurship. PANACEA will deliver programs which support visionary leadership that facilitate social, economic and environmental transformations. It promotes social entrepreneurship and innovation for Africa to become a global leader in sustained technologies by scouting, spawning and sustaining grassroots innovations. Further, PANACEA ensures evolution and diffusion of green grassroots innovation in a selective, time-bound and mission oriented basis so as to meet the socio-economic and environmental needs of our society. It works with social innovators, scientists and grassroots communities in pursuit of these goals. Further, it supports scientific research, manages field projects all over the world and brings governments, non-government organizations, United Nations agencies, companies and local communities together to develop and implement policy, laws and best practice.PANACEA®'s work will be supported by more than a 1000 professional staff in over 10 offices and hundreds of partners in public, NGO and private sectors around the world. The Foundation's headquarters are located in Cape Town, South Africa.Our vision is for a self-replicating, sustainable and integrated world community in harmony with nature (values and conserves nature) with a high standard of living, in service of the planet earth.
