Pants to Poverty was born 8 years ago when Nelson Mandela came to the UK to launch a Global Campaign urging the G8 (the leaders of the world's richest countries) to MAKE POVERTY HISTORY. He said, "Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings Sometimes it falls upon a generation to be great. You can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom." Today our greatness blossoms in the cotton fields of India and carries on all the way from cotton to your bottom through our amazing pants! We work with farmers and factory workers across India to produce world-changing pants which provide sustainable solutions to poverty.
