The name Paparch stems from the look and cooking method to bake a Basque Burnt Cheesecake! To bake and parch the cake, we used a fair amount of parchment paper as it rises pretty high before it actually sinks into the current served height. Paparch is also a combination of Papa and Parch as we are a team of an all-male crew who loves cooking, eating and experimenting on food!As we have now felt that we have perfected the recipe for our Basque Burnt Cheesecake, we are constantly throwing out ideas on other baked and cooked goods that we think would be perfect for family/friends gathering and sharing. Our cakes are for our customers who would like to have a Cheat Day, satisfy their cheese cravings or simply the urge to indulge in a really really good quality dessert!
