We are Paper Kite Children's Foundation, a non-profit charity working to ensure that basic necessities are available to orphanages in the state of Bihar, India.\\As a 100% volunteer-operated organization, we are dedicated to empowering children to fulfill their aspirations, and end the cycle of poverty.\\OUR PROGRAMS:\\Our programs improve the lives of children within the poorest region of a poor nation – Bihar, India. We support children who are without parental care and thus, they are at a higher risk of suffering discrimination, inadequate care, abuse and exploitation. \\Our 4 programs are based on the UN Future Fit for Children – Millennium Development Goals and designed to ensure the children are healthy, happy and prepared to succeed as adults.\\1) PROPER NUTRITION\\- Supply healthy food including fruit and vegetables\- Educate the caregivers and children on proper nutrition\- Supply general cooking supplies\\2) CLEAN WATER\\- Improve and maintain the orphanages' existing clean water systems\- Educate the caregivers and children on proper hygiene\\3) EDUCATION\\- Ensure all children aged 6 years and older receive schooling\- Pay special attention to overcoming hurdles to girls attending and finishing school\- Supply the required school supplies\- Assist with providing teachers' salaries\\4) HEALTH AND WELFARE\\- Provide medical supplies\- Rectify unsafe facility components\- Supply needed articles including bedding, clothes and toys
