We have created the World's first sustainable Hair Foil."Having been a hairdresser for 24 years, I never realized the detrimental effect the hairdressing industry had on our planet, until one day I stopped, and decided to take a much closer look at it. The average Kiwi hair salon uses 1.5km tin foil in a month, which is enough to wrap around the earth once every year. I was absolutely stunned when I discovered this and realized I had to do something if I was ever going to make a difference before it was too late.. thus Paper Not Foil was born."Contrary to normal habits of throwing rubbish in the bin, to then end up in a landfill, our paper strips can be naturally recycled/composted where (with the help of the sun's UV rays) they degrade over 6-7 months, leaving no toxic waste at all. We're working on changing the way our industry exists in the modern era, making it more sustainable.
