Paper Plane Foundation is more than being just a not for profit organization. We are a group of individuals from across the country ― dedicated towards serving the down trodden, needy and the underprivileged rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.Being kind and benevolent towards the down trodden, the poor, the orphans and the underprivileged in the society is the purpose with which Paper Plane was founded; that each one of us have an obligation towards our fellow being.In the year 2015 ― a group of young people from different states of India felt the need to establish a system dedicated towards serving the underprivileged. For over 4 years, we have taken on the most difficult tasks to help the most underserved. Through our programs, including housing and healthcare, educational and medical aid, etc., we have touched thousands of lives in over 5 states. Since 2013, we have supported country's most vulnerable groups, including homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those affected by natural disasters.Our common areas of focus include promoting self-sufficiency for the homeless and for others overcoming personal crises, caring for the elderly and disabled and fostering their independence, and supporting positive development for troubled and at-risk children and youth. We look at the whole person and address both urgent and ongoing needs, with the goal of helping people become as self-reliant as possible.Throughout India, we've seen care and love bring tears, and a packet of food fills more than a stomach. Street by street, slum by slum, we're restoring the happiness of people in need, but we're rebuilding so much more. We at Paper Plane will continue to strive towards serving the underprivileged, hoping, that in the long run, there will be no need for Paper Plane! But until then, we will be pulling together our resources, our thoughts, our efforts and our spirit, so that one day we'll achieve our dream.
