Paperhouse Architects and InteriorsThe philosophical approach of the practice is to combine and reformulate design methods for each design task. Each task is its own case, its own matter, problem and affair. A set of rules forms a logical, explanatory and comprehensive design narrative that leads to efficiency and a strong expression of the built fabric of our environments. Paperhouse draws inspiration from multitudes of thought processes across varied design disciplines, from urban planning to furniture design. Paperhouse believes that an apt awareness to an ever expanding knowledge base allows for conceptual and practical solutions that are bespoke, considered and context specific.Paperhouse Architects (founded in 2016) is an architectural and interior design studio that offers a bespoke design service. The founding partners are a Cape Town based couple; Architect Rishaad Vally and Interior Architect Juanique Horak.
