The Papermill Food Hub delivers groceries, diapers and household items weekly to 80 Philadelphia families currently dealing with food insecurity and mass unemployment. These families were referred for our services from Early Intervention teachers, soccer coaches and block captains and reside in some of Philadelphia's most underserved neighborhoods including North Philly and Kensington. We are run entirely by volunteers and serve about 300 Philadelphia residents every week. We have quadrupled as an organization since our founding in June 2020 when we had an original 21 families on our lists and we continue to look for opportunities to grow.Our organization is run entirely by grants, donations and volunteer efforts.
