Par Taps is Australia's leading manufacturer and seller of high quality, designer tapware and accessories. And while we wear the title proud, we have humble beginnings. Back in 1980 in the suburb of North Melbourne, two brothers from Italy started the business in their garage. Paul Pappalardo and his younger brother Joe embarked on a journey that would create their own brand as we know it today.Paul's plumbing background made him passionate about manufacturing products that were easy to install. In other words, making life easier (and the homes brighter) for the public was their goal. They are the original creators of coloured tapware and though they retired some 15 years ago from the business, their legacy continues. Paul's children now take control of the development of products, incorporating the same values that were instilled into the business 40 years ago. After Paul's passing in October 2018, his children vowed to continue the family legacy – and not only have they done that, but the enhancements continue.Today, this family-owned business has a young and vibrant management team.
