Information Technology & Services - Roslyn Heights, New York, United States
As a boy growing up in the suburbs of Long Island, Peter Regina was passionate about technology, loooong before every kid had their own mobile phone, and had big dreams of becoming a technology entrepreneur. At age 13, he began working as an apprentice for a computer company that supplied equipment to Wall Street firms during the internet boom. He disassembled and reassembled computers, servers… any hardware he could get his hands on. By age 16, he became an integral part of a team who first implemented Bloomberg and ILX trading systems for financial institutions. Witnessing others success in technology encouraged him to start his first company, which he did by age 19.
