PARADISE GIN STORYParadise Distillers was born during Covid. Like many businesses Conrad and Debby needed to adapt to a new world and we saw that the community wanted a premium product that was locally produced and had a local. Debby was brought up in Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise in an era that was full of elegance, fun and excitement. Paradise Distillers was born. The first product of the bat is Paradise Gin. The Paradise Gin labels give a nod to childhood memories and experiences that are synonymous with many that have visited the Gold Coast over the years. The Kakadu plum gin label is a nod to the famous resorts such as Chevron Hotel, of yesteryear in Surfers Paradise and the new Pink Paradise Gin label is a nod to our wonderful Currumbin Bird Life Sanctuary. All our labeling and boxing is locally sourced. When it came to sitting down and experimenting with gin recipes, we knew that we wanted to keep it simple so that the main ingredient would become the star. Our first gin, Paradise Gin with native Kakadu plum was born. Kakadu plum is a native Australian fruit that has the highest vitamin C of any fruit and it grows naturally in Northern Territory and Norther Queensland. Soon the market was asking for a Pink Gin and again we carefully thought out what native botanical would give a lovely pink tint and what other botanicals would complement our choice. After some homework we decided our native Rosella flower would be the perfect botanical to give this new gin it's colour and slight floral scent.
