Parfums de Marly is now celebrating ten years of expertise and creative excellence launched by a lover of history and perfume: Julien Sprecher, brand founder and chairman. Parfums de Marly's origins are closely linked to the history of France and to Louis XV in particular who nurtured two all-consuming passions for thoroughbred horses and perfume. In tribute to this period of history and the splendour of the 18th century – not only the age of enlightenment but also the age of perfume – Parfums de Marly revives the opulence of the Château de Marly and the Versailles court through creations which reflect the nobility of the time, a golden age for perfumery.
