20 Groups for the Marine Industry – 20 Groups are gatherings of up to 20 non-competing marine dealer principals who, after agreeing to confidentiality, compare their financial information in a common format. The members share their experiences and best practices in an effort to help each other obtain a much higher level of professionalism and profitability. A 20 Group meets three times per year for 2 ½ days, rotating the meetings among the members' locations. Being in a 20 Group helps to keep you on the "pulse" of the industry and your business. You get a "heads up" on what is happening sometimes 6 months before those who are not in a 20 Group. Also, we generally make better decisions in group, than we do by ourselves, hence our slogan…"If two heads are better than one, how about twenty!" Members enjoy access of up to 19 other marine dealers who understand the marine business, giving advice on each other's issues.
