PartnersJordan (PJ) is a local Jordanian non-profit organization established in 2005. PJ seeks to enhance participatory governance systems by developing innovative solutions and encouraging greater inclusiveness and protection of civil society in Jordan and across the MENA region. PJ is committed to advancing civil society, promoting local governance, social accountability, conflict management, and a culture of change while encouraging citizen participation in Jordan's social and political development to strengthen the ongoing political reform efforts. PJ is also part of several regional and international networks that tackle good governance, and the participation of citizens. PJ has a rich history of building youth coalitions and advancing youth learning, and experience sharing with the use of creative, up-to-date tools. PJ is a leading organization that marked its efforts in Jordan with programs around good governance, local development, and democratic participation. PJ's experience and proper understanding of the local challenges, gaps, and issues, coupled with the growing state-led efforts to decentralize governance systems, have paved the way for PJs to plan and execute programs over the past 17 years.
