Pasargad Software Group initially started in 2003 by partnership of two undergrad students studying computer science and information systems engineering; later two additional undergrad students joined the partnership in 2004. Between years of 2004 to 2006, Pasargad Soft operated subsidiary as a partner company of Technology and Knowledge Group (TAK Group). The company's profit increased between years of 2004 and 2006 and the company size increased to staff of 50. The company developed series of software packages at the starting point and later expand the service areas to provide networking, e-commerce, consulting, support, and custom web development services. Company went through major reorganization in winter of 2006 when two original founders decided to end their partnership few months prior to acquisition of parent company - TAK Group - by a local Internet Service Provider (ISP). Pasargad Soft continued between years of 2006-2013 under leadership of Amir Ahani, one of partners that joined partnership in 2004. Company continued operation with main focus of selling computer hardware and participating in projects as possible through strategic teaming with other companies. The company's website got shut down in October 2013 and main office got closed few months prior to that during the phasing of going out of business. The website got reactivate by original founders few days after and kept alive as a reminder of good old days.
