The Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PDNCF) is a U.S. public charity established in 2013 by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation to support the philanthropic goals of individuals, corporations, foundations and nonprofit organizations to improve health, education, economic development and quality of life in the Paso del Norte region. The PDNF responds to the needs and interests of donors and charitable organizations by offering flexible means for giving through:- Agency-Advised Funds- Donor-Advised FundS- Health Funds- Education, Economic Development & Quality of Life Funds- Supporting OrganizationsDonors have many ways to contribute to one or more funds in the Foundation including: - Outright Gifts - Cash, Stock, Real Estate, Real Property, Oil/Mineral Rights- Estate/Planned Gifts - Bequests, Life Insurance, Retirement Plan Benefits, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Lead Trusts/Remainder TrustsSince 2013, the Paso del Norte Foundation has established 67 funds – including large agency foundations such as the EPISD Education Foundation, El Paso Pro Musica Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso Foundation and numerous Named Funds established to support health and education. The PDNF has received more than $6.3 million in gifts and pledges and manages more than $1.1 million in endowment assets. In the last three years, PDNF has distributed more than $3.5 million grants to non-profit organizations in El Paso, Las Cruces and Cd. Juarez The PDNF also supports binational giving in partnership with the Fundación Paso del Norte para la Salud y Bienestar (Fundación) in giving donors flexible options to support charitable causes on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. The Fundación is a Mexican Asociación Civil (A.C.) established in 2015 by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation to lead and promote partnerships and initiatives to improve health and quality of live for people in Cd. Juarez.
