A Vision that became reality. Pastoral Robotics has addressed climate change in an unexpected way. Through our science and technology we have found a technique to to reduce nitrate leaching and nitrous oxides in dairy farming while also promoting grass growth, all from the use of urine patches. Years of continuous development has seen our robot Spikey throughout the country offering farmers a rare win win scenario of helping the environment without sacrificing losses in productivity.There are 5 Spikeys currently commisionned in the field, with one under constuction and several more back orders on the way. Exciting times ahead, as it has the potential to reduce the equivalent of 149 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere every year, if it was globally deployed.
