Patea Tus Montes was founded in 1996 in La Orotava Valley, Canary Islands (Tenerife). Originally started by 11 people, in the last 12 years the company has been directed by Jose María Pérez. Since then, when hiking and adventure sports wasn't yet mainstream, we have been showing the Canary Islands to hundreds of adventurous people, locals and tourists alike who are eager to explore. We know what we do, we know what we value and these things get us out of bed every morning, and bring us contentment and a sense of satisfaction at the end of every day. Things weren't easy at the start, but the philosophical attachment to doing business differently was powerful. Numbers are important, but equally important are the values we create and the values by which we live. We've been building a company with a conscience for almost two decades, intent on the fair and humane treatment of our people as well as the places where we take our clients, and the global environment we all share.What began with a group of young guys looking forward to creating something different, has now evolved into a thriving business. We offer a diversity of activities such as hiking, kayaking, climbing, mountain biking, caving, and rappelling amongst others. Patea Tus Montes unlocks the doors to unique places around the Canary Islands; places that are new even for people who have lived here their whole lives.
