Patek's Shiner Smokehouse LLC is a privately-held company focused on providing high-quality and flavorful meats to local, regional and national retailers. Our origin dates back to 1937, when the Patek family opened the doors of a drive-in gas station and grocery in Shiner, Texas. The establishment eventually transpired into a grocery store, meat procession and smokehouse. Blending their rich, Czechoslovakian heritage with the down-home flavor of Texas, the Patek family created delicious sausages and smoked meats that quickly became a staple in the community. Brian Patek, grand-son and entrepreneur, formed Shiner Smokehouse LLC in 2006 with the intent to go national in terms of distribution, because food this good is worth sharing. Now, Shiner Smokehouse is undergoing a unique re-branding and marketing initiative in order to bring these bold and legendary recipes to your very own store-front, restaurant or backyard.
