For those wanting to take up that opportunity or build on previous experiences, Pathmakers can help to provide the space for non-Indigenous Australians to build a better understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Our purpose is to assist private and public sector companies and organisations who want to take up that opportunity through the development of appropriate strategies and instruments to support their engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.Our mandate is to honour and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's right to self-determination.We operate with respect, recognition, openness. Transparency and accountability are the core of our work ethic.It is with these foundations that Pathmakers will seek to build good relationships, allowing us to tailor solutions for improving understanding and reconciliation for the mutual benefit of our Indigenous community partners and our clients.
