Pathways Education Group is an educational consulting and management services company that focuses on identifying and developing educational opportunities in China. The company is registered in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China. Pathways was established by Michael P. Donaldson, who has worked in both public and private education in Canada and China. Mr. Donaldson came to China in 2000, employed as a consultant by his Canadian public school employers, with the goal of developing collaborative projects between Canadian and Chinese educators and business interests. During his time in China, Mr. Donaldson has worked on school development projects in Qingdao, Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Xi'an and Hangzhou. Mr. Donaldson continues to maintain close ties to his home country. In 2011 he was named as the Education Advisor to the New West Partnership, the combined economic development offices for the Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan in Shanghai. Mr. Donaldson is the Chairman of Pathways Education Group.
