Service Area: Larimer and Weld counties including the cities of Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and Windsor. Staff: Pathways Hospice has a staff of more than 120 employees and 250 volunteers. Locations: Pathways Hospice patients may reside at home, caregivers' homes, long-term care facilities, or our inpatient care center at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Services are brought to the "home" to assist family members in providing care for patients. Eligibility: Hospice care is for any person with a life-limiting illness. Although in its first years hospice care served primarily cancer patients, today all life-threatening illnesses and conditions are included in hospice care. Payment: In most cases, hospice services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. As a non-profit, Pathways Hospice evaluates each situation to ensure patients receive the care they need, no one is denied care based on inability to pay.
