Our MissionTo provide comprehensive education, health and human services to reduce homelessness ofunderserved youth while promoting their development and enriching the communities of Los Angeles County.OUR PROGRAM¨ "Pathways to Success" Transitional Housing Program has provided housing and supportive housing services to 300 homeless youth over the past 6 years¨ 87% of clients are emancipated foster care youth¨ 90% African American, 8% Hispanic and 1% White¨ 75% Female, 25% Male¨ 52% of clients are enrolled in GED prep, college, or a trade school¨ 17% of clients are employed¨ 35% are actively seeking employment¨ 80% receive job preparation classes¨ 57% of our clients received permanent housing within the first year in the pro gramProvide evidenced based program, "Toward No Tobacco/Toward No Drug" education to 91 students at 5 Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Alternative Schools¨ Provide Youth Development Program including case management, job prep and referrals, teen pregnancy prevention, anger management and self-esteem classes to 92 students at 4 LACOE Community Day Schools¨ Homeless youth advocacy through the John Burton Foundation and homeless advocacy in South Los Angeles through the Los Angeles Homeless Restoration Advisory Committee¨ 108 homeless housing referrals for homeless transition aged youth, ages 18-24
