The Patients' View Institute (PVI) is a non-profit organization focused on gathering and sharing the wisdom of patients by creating an online community, offering a training program around the "Patients' View Principles," and connecting patient advocates and health care organizations for decision-making opportunities. PVI is a first-of-its-kind training, matchmaking and advocacy organization, created and driven by patients themselves, to achieve more patient-centered health care.Our goal is to support patients' and families' contributions to health care quality improvement; compile and promote shared Patients' View Principles based on research with patients; activate more patients and let them choose how to participate; develop patients as speakers while making them easily accessible to entities seeking authentic patient perspective; and fully empower all people to lead healthy lives, while helping transform our health care system into the best it can be.
