Paul Preissner Architects is an idea-based design office founded in 2006. The office achieved international notoriety through its commitment to novel shapes, materials, and innovative organizations for building program. Drawing its expertise from architecture, academia, and art and design, we approach every project with an intellectual discipline and artistic openness that allows for novel solutions to projects of every size and any budget. We search for projects and clients that share our ambitions and obsessions concerning the formalized world regardless of scale, location or typology.Paul Preissner Architects has worked on projects ranging from workstation and furniture design for the Cincinnati Art Museum to the planning of a central park district for a new administrative city in South Korea. Recent projects from the office include a daycare facility for developmentally disabled adults in Beer Sheba, Israel, a central library for Helsinki Finland, exhibition design for the NextArt Chicago art fair.
