Working in conjunction with Ryerson University, PAVO Digital Inc. has been developing a captioning software called PAVOCAT. PAVOCAT is designed from the ground up to make full use of the features available in the CEA-708 digital standard when captioning. The software includes a simplified user interface with a smart linguistic engine to entirely support an independent captioning system which provides real-time captioners with the easiest and fastest way to caption. This is made possible by applying current digital technology and modern user-centered designs.
