At Paws & Effect we offer the unconditional love, comfort, and healing energy of registered therapy dogs to patients and studentsin a variety of health care and educational settings.We are an all-volunteer 501C(3) public charity dedicated to serving those who need us most.Therapy dogs have helped launch an entirely new field of medical research over the past two decades, and doctors are now finding that interaction with animals can even increase people's level of the hormone oxytocin. Beyond all the scientific health research is the natural yet unexplainable capacity that dogs have to teach and give their gifts of compassion, forgiveness, and living in the moment.It was their powerful holistic canine connection that prompted us to start the Paws & Effect organization.
