"Paxial Arts" is a word built in reflection to the expression "martial art". While martial art refers to Mars, the Roman god of war, Paxial Art refers to Pax, the goddess of Peace. As much as Martial arts, is considered as a spectacular practice requiring self discipline and inner control to enhance one's resources to defeat an opponent, I see Paxial Art as an inner practice that requires to get in touch with one's own power, emotions and needs in order to anchor one's sense of empowerment as well as one's sense of connection within and with the world.Paxial Art is my way to brand NVC practices along with some other approaches that help an individual be a powerful agent of change in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world, by contributing authentically, courageously, powerfully yet respectfully to the society around them.On the top of that, NVC gives practical tools as well to interact, listen and express oneself in a grounded, respectful, empathic and open way.The underlying philosophy and principles of NVC combined with its practical tools make this practice a must learn for all human being, at any age, who want to free themselves from limiting beliefs, learn to respect themselves and the others, and interact in a powerful and connected way with people around them.
