We are a technology start up with an aspiration to establish ourself as a pioneer in small value payments in India. Incorporated in September 2014, by a team of co-founders, pre-dominantly from Banking & Consulting industry, Paynovation has an aspiration to establish itself as a pioneer in small value payments by offering a simple yet innovative solution to cover the last mile. What are we doing ? In simple words, we plan to introduce a low-cost, contact less, stored value payment instrument to facilitate small value day to day transactions for merchants like groceries shops, coffee shops, parking vendors, restaurants, public transports, college campuses, etc. Business need for success of this service is driven by the sheer fact that cost of a card-based or online transactions in India is significantly higher and so, small value transactions are not encouraged to be initiated using a Visa/Master Card based payment system. Reducing the cost of transaction and cost of managing cash would benefit merchants, at the same time, end-user will see a value proposition from eliminating the need to carry cash/currency on their wallet.
