PAY.ON was founded in Munich, Germany in 2004, and acquired by ACI, the Universal Payments company, in 2015. HISTORY PAY.ON was founded in 2004 by payments and telecommunications experts who recognized the need for payment services to be supported by robust, flexible, and scalable payment infrastructure. The white label platform was launched in 2007, creating a PCI compliant, cloud-based SaaS technology solution, enabling payment providers to overcome technical barriers to growth. The globalization of eCommerce established PAY.ON as an ideal partner for cross-border expansion. PAY.ON has built a global payment network of more than 300 acquirers, alternative payment methods, and risk connectors that is accessed via a single integration.
