PDT food depot Details
PDT food depot is a community-based food bank in Guangzhou. Established in 2017, PDT is the first food bank in southern China. Our mission is to build a food redistribution system in southern China. PDT is also dedicated to educating the public on food wastage and engaging students in social innovation.Last year, PDT managed to raise and redistribute 1,000,000kg+ of food and engaged 3000+ people in monthly community events. More than 50 volunteers have contributed 500 hours in doing foodbanking with PDT.Being an associated member of Global Foodbanking Network, PDT is connected to both local and global community. PDT is practising think globally, act locally.
