Mental Healthcare - Pittsburgh, PA, US
Peace of Time Wellness was formed to integrate mind-body healing rooted in neuroscience. It was founded on the understanding that the mind and body are more integrated than previously thought. Using research-informed interventions, Peace of Time offers several service lines that can be used separately, or integrated according to the needs of the client. Integrated workshops are offered throughout the year which are used to educate as well as generate change with the understanding of the mind-body connection. All of our services are trauma-informed and many of our modalities are centered around trauma-healing and stress management. Our approach is focused around the experience of life, learning about how we are impacted by events and being educated on options for change through education and self empowerment throughout the span of life.Services offered include individual mental health therapy, massage therapy, yoga classes, integrative workshops, some nutrition services, and somatic experiencing. Collaborations also allow for the adoption of a local greenspace in the community and community programing.Peace of Time also believes in social responsibility. As part of who we are, we offer education, advocacy, and community service throughout the year both supporting state initiatives, local organizations, and residents of the community.Peace of Time also offers internships for graduate level students enrolled full-time in an accredited institution. Currently, Peace of Time offers field work placements for the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of School of Social Work.Local art is also displayed at our practice in cooperation with students at Seton Hill University.
