Peace River Engineering Society (PRES) Details
PRES is a society of engineers and engineering professionals, from Sarasota and Charlotte counties in Florida, that gather monthly at a local restaurant. We host engineering related presentations by members and guest at our meetings, which are redeemable for professional development hours or continuing education credits. We encourage our members to volunteer in engineering education when public opportunities arise. We also organize and host a golf tournament yearly, whose profits go to scholarships for high school and college students enrolled in an engineering curriculum.
