Peace Tree Apparel's mission is to create t-shirts and accessories that inspire us to be good to ourselves, one another and the world we share.The idea for Peace Tree Apparel began several years ago, just after the birth of my new family. I became so inspired by my two children that I was compelled to create something to express my feelings. As I shopped for clothes, mostly t-shirts, for my kids I found very few things I wanted them to wear. The positive messages I wished I could find were few and far between. One morning I woke up with the idea to make my own t-shirts for my kids with simple designs and some of the sayings that we commonly use in our house. The original thought was an "inside and out" concept, to feel good about yourself and share that feeling with the world in thought and in action. A few years later, with one more child running around, I revisited my passion to create. This time the thought of a Peace Tree came to me, a line of t-shirts and accessories for all ages that could inspire us as we grow through life. I am fortunate to be able to work with my sister, Sharon, together we hope to create pieces that you will feel inspired to wear and share with others.
