Peak Physical Therapy is the first place people turn to when they have an injury or pain. They know we can help them. Each client is important to us and is made to feel that way from the moment they walk in the door to the time of their discharge from treatment. They know they can return whenever they need but they also have the tools to help themselves as well. Everyone knows they will be treated with compassion, dignity and respect but they will also have some fun too!Other clinics might offer the same services, but clients come to us because of the personal touch we provide. They know we care about them as a person, not as a statistic. From the moment they walk in the door, they are greeted by name, with a smile and maybe even a joke or two. If they've seen us before, they will feel like Norm walking into Cheers! If they are new to us, they immediately feel welcomed and looked after. On their first visit, the front end staff will help them fill out any forms we might need and let them know what to expect when the therapist brings them back. Therapists greet each new patient with a handshake and a smile while introducing ourselves. We enjoy the "detective work" in figuring out what may be causing the patient's symptoms- not just treating them. We are best known for treating the spine, knees and shoulders but also the more complex pain patients. We use a Sports Medicine approach along with acupuncture, myofascial release techniques and postural and core patterns. Physiotherapy is a science so we use best available practice but it is also an art- we have to be willing to look outside the box if the patient's body part "didn't read the book"The patients know we will do whatever we can to help them- this may mean referring them on to a different therapist or discipline. For conditions where there is no "fix" they will know how to manage on their own and will also know when they can/should call us for more help.
