Who are we and what do we do? Pebble Hill Design is a furniture restoration firm based near Harpenden dedicated to providing a friendly and personal service to our customers ensuring that their requirements are met. Using traditional methods and products, Pebble Hill Design restore furniture to a level agreed with by the client. French polishing, waxing and reconstruction are all part of the process. Furniture repair includes anything from the fixing loose joints, to comprehensive reconstruction, which may include carving, stripping and re-colouring wood, marquetry and inlay work. The work can be carried out on site if appropriate or it can be carried out in our workshop if not. Pebble Hill Design will always strive to maintain the patination of an item. Who do we work for? We work for individuals along with small and medium businesses in Hertfordshire. All work is considered on a case by case basis and free quotes are given once the work has been assessed. If it is deemed the work is out of the scope of the company then we will inform the customer appropriately. How much does it cost? We see each project as individual and the requirements as unique to each project. To this end, each item of work will be considered on a case by case basis. The customer will then receive a quote with a detailed breakdown of costs and time. Why use us? We are a friendly company dedicated to providing a personal service to our customers. Each project is as important to us as the next one. We will work with the customer from beginning to end providing a tailored service to meet individual needs. We don`t believe in quoting flat rate for work as this is fair for some, but prohibitive for others. We will clearly lay out different options that we feel best suit the customer`s requirements.
