PECOJON is an international network of journalists and media practitioners, photographers, filmmakers and academicians who develop, promote and implement high quality reporting of conflict, crisis and war.The network has been founded as a cooperation of Filipino and German journalists in 2004 and has grown into an international organisation with more than 800 members in Asia, Africa and Europe. The network combines the expertise of leading researchers with the extensive field experience of its members in many of the most challenging conflict regions of the world.PECOJON offers a networking platform, training and education in Conflict Sensitive Journalism, Conflict Analysis, Safety and Handling Stress and Trauma, support for curriculum integration of Conflict Reporting and Conflict Sensitive Journalism in Universities, and promotes solidarity among media practitioners wolrd wide.
