Pedal Parcel has been under way since 2009. The concept has always been the same. To give a Bike Courier the option to find their own work. Of course you, Joe Public can find a bike courier in your area too. Also Joe's Pizzas can find a bike to deliver his pizzas or Joe can put his own delivery people on the system.Over time, the value of one job has gone up but the messenger has gotten less mostly because of larger companies fighting to keep clients by cutting rates. Here at Pedal Parcel we want to empower the rider to take back the jobs. I remeber earning more money per job in the early 90's than bike couriers get now (per job).As an ex bike messenger I think it is about time that the worker has the opportunity to earn as much as the bosses. This is done by giving that hard worker the opportunity to work for themselves.Why is Pedal Parcel different?Well in short the answer is you set your rates and you work for yourself. We never will take your clients and give your jobs to someone else. That is your job. Although you can share you job to another person in your location, the option to do so is yours. We will never be a courier company.
