We have been around for 55 years now, so we know just how much value our customers put on their animals. They're not just for birthdays, or for Christmas – they're part of the family. And, being a family run business ourselves, we know just how important the concept of family is.We currently trade from a 6000 sq. ft warehouse on Cleveland Street, Hull and a 1800 sq. ft superstore in Anlaby . We stock a wide range of products for all kinds of animals – from spiders to stallions, chickens to chameleons and, of course, the trusty dog and cat!Established in 1965 by Mr Michael Prentice and his wife Sandra, the location and the staff of the company have changed frequently over the years, but the ethos has always remained the same, to sell trusted, reliable products at a competitive price. Michael and Sandra's three children have all worked in the business at some point in their lives and since their retirement, the day to day running has been carried out by their eldest daughter, Michelle and her husband Jason, even the grand- children have all played parts and some still do and their middle daughter still oversees the accounts. Its still very much a business built on family values.This is not to say we are some quaint back street shop, we have a turnover of 2 million per year and have just launched our new web-site, we have a very active Facebook account and import many stock items ourselves.
