Possibilities for Each and Every Kid was established in 2000, and has been operating for 17 years as a children and young people's provider supporting local youngsters across the North East of Glasgow. The organisation was initially founded by a local minister – Rev. Irene Bristow, St Thomas Gallowgate Church in response to the deprivation in the area, and the lack of opportunities for youngsters. Over the years the organisation has continued to grow and develop, providing a range of play, creative learning and volunteering. PEEK has become an established part of the communities we serve, and has supported thousands of children and young people. During the year 1st April 2015- 31st of March 2016 we: Supported 3185 children 5-13yrs and 540 young people 13-25yrs to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors. This is achieved through providing participants with challenging and creative opportunities through play, physical activity, the arts and learning opportunities, enhanced by incentives such as awards and qualifications. We improved the life chances and employment prospects of young people through volunteering, learning and training, enhanced by the arts award, youth achievement and saltire awards. Sustained and developed our successful programmes of activity- Lets Play, Creative Learning and Volunteering.
