At Peet Bros., we are a personal care brand with purpose. We are passionately focused on ending palm oil deforestation and in the process making amazing, moisturizing products.Palm oil is the most widely used vegetable oil in the world. Its overuse is causing rainforest deforestation, climate change, destroying the homes of endangered species like the orangutan, and is complicit with human rights violations. We decided to take a stand and to educate the masses about the atrocities with the palm oil industry.At the same time, we are making better products. The key with Peet Bros. is that we replace all palm oil (and its derivatives) with significant amounts of the same ingredients that people actually care about, like Shea Butter and Olive Oil. In fact, our hero ingredients are always a top three ingredient.Finally, we are also putting our money where our palm-free mouth is by helping protect rainforests along with the animals and people who call them home. Through our 1% for the Planet membership we support nonprofit organizations creating positive change for the environment.
