Pelham Art Center is a charity art education organization located in a 5,000sf building in Pelham, NY (near Mt. Vernon, New Rochelle and the Bronx). The Center serves 15,000 people of all ages and art interests who live, visit and work nearby. The Center was founded in 1970 and its mission is to provide the general public with the place, the resources and the opportunity to see, study and experience the arts in a community setting. To fulfill the mission the Center offers fee based art classes and workshops; grant sponsored art residences in off site programs; and presents free exhibitions, lectures, performances, art workshops and artist demonstrations.
