Why should you become a member?Opportunity to serve: The Associations provide you the opportunity to serve your profession and give back to the community through our various outreach programs such as Talk with a Pharmacist Day, Smoking Cessation Program, Senior Showcase, and counseling talks at many senior care homes and centers.Networking: Our monthly C.E. Dinner programs give members the chance to network with their pharmacy colleagues at the same time they are enjoying a delicious dinner and broadening their knowledge and earning C.E. credit.Newsletter: We publish a monthly newsletter to keep members up to date on current pharmacy issues. If you have been a pharmacist for some time, we need your experience, and if you are a recent graduate, we welcome your new ideas and enthusiasm!Political influence: We have a very active relationship with legislators at all levels of government and are constantly meeting with them at their local offices and also at their State Capitol offices on Legislative Day to express our (your) concerns. The new Healthcare Reforms offer pharmacists the opportunity to utilize their expertise and broaden their scope of practice.
