Penn State Chinese Theatre and Movie Society is founded by a group of Penn Staters who are passionate about performing arts. CTMS focuses on using the Chinese language as the medium and traditional plays, Avant-Garde plays, skits, and mime plays as ways for students who are passionate about acting, directing, stage designs (lighting, sound, costume, and stage), graphic designs, as well as digital marketing to learn, develop, and utilize their skills creatively while filling their leisure time meaningfully.Penn State中文话剧社成立于2013年，由一批拥有话剧梦，热爱舞台艺术的学生组。本社致力于用中文为媒介，通过传统话剧，先锋话剧，小品，以及默剧的形式，为热爱表演、导演，编剧、舞台设计（灯光，音效，服装，舞台），平面设计，以及新媒体的学生提供一个新颖的平台并帮助学生丰富课余生活。Since 2014, CTMS aims at presenting 1-2 productions per semester and has presented 17 full productions of different forms, including productions from famous playwrights internationally and from original plays written by our members. 自2014年社团发展逐渐稳定后，话剧社以每学期一至二部话剧演出的目标，共演出17部不同形式的话剧，其中包括国内外知名导演作品以及社员原创剧本。Since 2017, CTMS has fully utilized limited resources and actively explored the unlimited possibilities of theatre, including Holloween production "Room Escape-The Haunted House"; Hotel Immersive theatre "Cafe Murder"; interactive immersive theatre "The Witness" and its sequence "Accusation".话剧社自2017年利用有限场地资源积极探索话剧形式的无限可能，曾筹划万圣节"鬼屋之密室逃脱"、酒店浸没式话剧"Cafe Murder"、互动悬疑剧"致命证人"及原创续集"最终指控"。
