One day in October 2017, two picturebook friends (Tatia Gruenbaum & Sandie Mourao) were wondering how to better support the inclusion of picturebooks in primary English language teaching (PELT). We had a few ideas and shared them with another picturebook friend (Gail Ellis) and then with one more (Anneta Sadowska) and one year on, here we are: Picturebooks for European Primary English Language Teaching - PEPELT. You might wonder why Europe? Well, all of us are based in Europe and so this is where our expertise lies.
