AboutPequeños Engranes is a project of Social Community Service of the Tecnológico de Monterrey where children's creativity is fosteredCompany OverviewIn Pequeños Engranes we focus on encouraging creativity in young people. This is helping students of the Ciudad de Los Niños school with the support of Tec de Monterrey students to prepare them for the Odyssey of the Mind contest.In this contest the creativity and ingenuity of young people are sought in order to solve problems and that eventually, they will be able to solve problems in the same way in the society in which they live.General InformationThis group works with engineering students of Tec de Monterrey to teach students of the City of Children to think differently so they can engineer solutions for the future.In the six short years since its founding, Pequeños Engranes has played a major role in the transformation of young Mexican students with limited economic resources. Our organization provides these youths with an international creative problem-solving program that engages in kinesthetic learning by allowing their knowledge and ideas to come to life in an exciting, productive environment.A priority needs for Pequeños Engranes, which operates throughout the academic year, is funding for daily operations, supplies, and a travel competition. In the past, we have relied on small fundraising campaigns. This has resulted in a high turnover, continued difficulty in meeting our budget goals, and limited support for our young contestants.
