To perfect the application of derivative GBT RAS technology to finfish, Perciformes Group LLC built a Multi-Million Dollar Research and Development facility on the GBT Taft, Texas campus. That R&D center dwarfs the vast majority of finfish R&D effort at any University worldwide. It is designed to tailor the RAS technology to select species native to diverse environments from Alaska (Black Cod) to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coastal waters (Black Cod) to the Gulf of Mexico (Triple Tail, Pompano).As a result, Perciformes Group LLC production facilities can be located anywhere globally: in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Central and South America, Asia, the Pacific Rim, etc. Wherever the locale, these custom designed facilities will produce very profitable, large commercial quantities of a specific highly consumer desirable, nutritious finfish species.
