I left corporate America many years ago and set out to start my first business. After 13 months of working 18 hour days, 7 days a week (no exaggeration) I realized that hard work wasn't enough. There were many holes in my plan. I didn't have the knowledge that I needed to reach enough people to make the business profitable and as a result it failed. I carefully assessed the error of my ways and made a quick recovery. The second business was profitable almost immediately. It was also in this second endeavor that I found my purpose.
