Architecture & Planning - New Alresford, England, United Kingdom
Perkins Ogden Architects has gained an enviable track record for designing and delivering high quality and quietly innovative architectural solutions, many of which have been recognised by national awards. Founded by Mervyn Perkins and Mark Ogden as a partnership in 1987, the practice is now a limited company operating throughout the south of England from our offices in Alresford, a market town set in beautiful countryside a few miles to the east of Winchester. Our reputation is largely for our work across the education sector, with projects ranging in size from £0.5m to £50m. We are therefore used to dealing with the diverse requirements of multi-faceted client organisations, funding agencies, local communities and the authorities. The practice has assisted a number of client organisations to review, rationalise and upgrade their estate. Our expertise includes space needs analysis, accommodation strategies, master-planning, briefing and all stages of the design and construction process. Our mission is to continue to make buildings to enrich the lives of people who use them and which respect the practical considerations of those who fund and manage them. All the directors maintain an active role in each project, working closely with the client and project team. The whole practice places great emphasis on team-work; motivating the client, key stakeholders, design team and contractors alike with their energy and enthusiasm. "amongst the best external professionals we have ever worked with" Ian Ashman (Principal) The Community College, Hackney
